We are so glad that you've decided to join us for an amazing experience this summer!
At this point, we need some information about yourself, as well as some questions answered so we can get to know you better and find a good fit for you at camp.

    Information

    The Cost

As we supply food and accommodations for each LEAD team member, the subsidized cost for camp(s) this year will be determined by when you sign up with a $25 minimum deposit required once you've been asked to join the team.
If you are wanting to get canteen or other items at camp, please bring other money to do so.

    REferences

List two adults that you’ve known for at least one year and who have a definite knowledge of your character and can speak to your ability to work with children. One reference may be a family member, but the other reference must be from other sources such as your youth pastor, employer, teachers, coaches, etc.

    Questions - Who You are

We just want to get to know you a little better so we can find a great fit for you!

    Policy & Procedures

*Note: These are just an overview of our staff’s main policies and procedures—more info will be given at a staff training session including, but not limited to, health and safety practices, a COVID Safety Plan, safe interactions with campers and staff, as well as reporting procedures.

    1. One of the primary responsibilities of all Camp Staff is to ensure the safety of all staff and students attending. This includes but is not limited to their physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health.

    2. Leaders are never permitted to have any kind of romantic or sexual relationship with a student or another LEAD team member attending Chubb Lake Camp, regardless of age. Interactions between leaders and students (verbally and physically) must be held to the highest standards.

    3. It’s never a breach of confidentiality to disclose any situation to the Camp Director(s). Imminent threats to the health and safety of a student (i.e.: threats of suicide or violence to another person) must be disclosed immediately to the ministry team leader(s) and are also legally required to be reported to authorities.

    4. While we permit the use of cellphones, all staff are required to be present and engaged during camp and LEAD team activities. While campers are onsite, cellphone use is strictly prohibited outside of emergency use.

    5. Drugs, alcohol, vapes, weapons or pocket knives are not permitted whatsoever. Any of the previously mentioned items will be confiscated.

    6. As part of a Christian leadership program, you are to conduct yourselves to the highest standard including, but not limited to, your language, what you wear (including swimwear), social interactions, listening to and following Director’s instructions as well as your overall attitude (teachability, humility, flexibility, love, and grace).

    7. In the event that a staff member does not abide by our policy and procedures, they will be sent home at the cost of the staff member and their applicable family.

    Waiver/Release

I understand the commitment that will be required and certify that all of the above information that I’ve given is true and, moreover, release this information to the disclosure and use of Chubb Lake Camp and it’s Directors in order to know who I am, maintain accurate records for legal purposes and lead me well during my time in the LEAD program.
    Certifying the above statements

What Others are Saying

"The kids had so much fun...left as kids...came home as mature young adults. God definitely changed their lives for the better. Their lives were touched and transformed. They met a lot of teens from other areas and ministries and made new friends over the week there. It was a fantastic experience for each one of them and God touched their heart and kept them safe from all the vicious fires all around the area. They're already talking about going back again next year😀😎"
